Politeia Thematic Session: “Youth and Employment Policies in the Western Balkans”

Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe – RYDE

The Politeia Thematic Session titled “Youth and Employment Policies in the Western Balkans” was organised in Skopje by NGO Info Centre (NGO IC) from 21 to 23 November 2023.

The Activity has been implemented in coordination with expert policy makers and lecturers: Dragan Atanasov, trainer at Salto-Youth South East Europe Resource Centre and Researcher for Partnership between the European Commission and the Council of Europe in the field of youth; and Anelija Mitrova, Operations coordinator at Youth Alliance and Advisory Board Member at Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO).

The Curriculum and the Agenda have been prepared for 12 young participants were recruited from North Macedonia (3 participants from CSOs), Serbia (2 participants 1 from CSO and 1 from political party), Bosnia and Hercegovina (2 participants from CSOs), Kosovo (3 participants from CSOs) and Albania (2 participants from CSOs) with the assistance of Project partners.

Following the thematic session, a mentoring process was planned to be implemented during December 2023 and January 2024.

The event was held within the framework of the project “Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe (RYDE),” funded by the European Union.

The Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe Project is implementing by the Center for Democracy Foundation (CDF), Belgrade (as project coordinator) and partner organizations: Academy of European Integration and Negotiations from Tirana (AIEN); Kosovo Stability Initiative from Pristina (IKS); Association Network of Progressive Initiatives from Sarajevo (NPI); NGO Info Center from Skopje (NGO IC); Regional Academy for Democratic Development from Novi Sad (ADD); Youth Act Center from Tirana (YA). The project is funded by the European Union.
