Corruption Against Decent Work
“I can resist everything, except the temptation” - Oscar Wilde
Regulations and morality keep political communities together and represent elementary values. Nevertheless, the individual in community should succumb to their norms, which are limiting in his/hers free aspirations and actions; individual often perceives them as the limitation of his/hers own interests.
There is an aphorism by Oscar Wilde saying: “I can resist everything, except the temptation”. Verbalized in the form of paradox, but still convincing. Every corruption starts with surrendering to temptation. But what is temptation? Is it a deficit of fulfilled needs; is it materialistic or psychological nature? Or corruptive human nature gets into conflict with the adopted moral values?
