CDF Representatives Visit New Social Initiative in Kosovska Mitrovica
The Project Coordinator of the Center for Democracy Foundation, Dajana Ostojić, and the Financial Coordinator of CDF, Katarina Stojković, visited the grant recipient organization of the Youth Fund for Local Youth Initiatives – New Social Initiative (NSI) from Kosovska Mitrovica on November 25 and 26, 2024.
NSI's project, titled “Bridges of the Future: Empowering Youth for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue”* has been supported by the Center for Democracy within the Youth Fund for Local Youth Initiatives, implemented as part of the “Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe – RYDE” project with the support of the European Union.
During discussions with representatives of the New Social Initiative, information was exchanged on the dynamics of project implementation, which aims to contribute to the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina by engaging young people and civil society organizations in inclusive dialogue initiatives and fostering innovative approaches to overcoming social divisions and mistrust.
Additionally, the discussion also covered the position of the Serbian community in Kosovo and the challenges they face daily.
This visit marks a step toward strengthening cooperation and empowering local initiatives for a better and shared future.
