EXIT 2000. NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR DEMOCRATIC AND FAIR ELECTIONS - pre-elections campaigns of NGOs in Serbia

It has became clear in the recent months that pre-elections campaigns organized prior to presidential and parliamentary elections in FR of Yugoslavia in September 2000, have introduced a new, and in many ways unprecedented, approach to political life in Yugoslavia, both in terms of their appearance and their final results. The Third Sector in Yugoslavia has for the first time shown its full strength and unity, by getting together in an informal network, and by a coordinated presentation of the pre-elections campaign entitled EXIT 2000 - Non-governmental organizations for democratic and fair elections.
