LEARNING FROM OTHERS – Experiences of Transition in Poland and Hungary, June/July 2001
This publication includes reports from the study trips organized in the period June 16 – July 1, 2001, to Poland and Hungary. Expert teams from the fields of macro economy, finances, investments and social policy, formed according to previous selection and in cooperation with appropriate ministers and heads of departments included experts from: Ministry of Finances and Economy, Public Revenue Service, Ministry for International Economic Relations, National Bank of Yugoslavia, Economic Institute and various departments of Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs. Teams spent one week both in Poland and in Hungary in a working visit to their colleagues from respective institutions. Trips encompassed series of meetings, lectures and practical expertise transfer from the shared, but also specific interests.
