Booklet “Learning From Others: Experience of Transition in Czech Republic and Slovenia”
LEARNING FROM OTHERS – LESSONS LEARNED IN TRANSITION 2 – Experiences from Transition in Czech Republic and Slovenia, May 2003
Transition as a process that is more or less successfully happened or it is still happening in post-communist countries and societies inspired the two non-governmental organizations from Serbia and Montenegro to consider about the process comparison in different countries, conclusions deriving from it, aiming to alleviate the efforts for those who are about to face those reforms towards open society. The possibility for a broader and comprehensive overview of the transitional perspective, aimed to improve the creation of plans for reform and laws, was the basis for the joint project of Center for Democracy Foundation and Fund for the Development of Democracy "Ljuba Davidović" – LEARNING FROM OTHERS – LESSONS LEARNED IN TRANSITION.
“LEARNING FROM OTHERS – LESSONS LEARNED IN TRANSITION” project’s objective was primarily to facilitate an insight to transitional processes of other countries to important actors of our reform processes, and in the areas of legal reforms, stabilization and European Union accession processes, and media reform.
