Natasa Vuckovic, Secretary General at the Center for Democracy Foundation and Coordinator of Intersectoral Working Group for Regional Cooperation within National Convention on the European Union (NCEU), said that the opening accession negotiations with North Macedonia and Albania is excellent and encouraging news for the entire Western Balkans region.
Our societies are committed to the European integration because we want our region to be a place of democracy, the rule of law and the European values we strive for, and today's decision is an important signal for Serbia to accelerate reforms.
