Dajana holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, specializing in International Security, and has six years of professional experience across the public, private, and non-governmental sectors. She completed her undergraduate studies in International Relations and her Master’s studies in International Security at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade.
During her undergraduate studies, she actively participated in student politics, serving two terms as a member of the Student Parliament.
Dajana began her professional career as an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia (Department for Europe, Sector for Bilateral Relations). In 2020, she transitioned to the civil sector as a project manager at the Council for Strategic Policies, where she was responsible for implementing projects in foreign policy and security (media content analysis on Serbia’s foreign policy partners, organizing and coordination the educational program “Diplomacy for Youth“ etc).
In May of 2022, Dajana joined the Center for Democracy Foundation as a Project Coordinator. She is involved in designing and implementing projects related to socio-economic development, democracy, human rights, public dialogue, youth participation, and Serbia’s European integration, as well as the European integration processes of other countries in the region. Since February 2023, she is leading the European project “Regional Youth Dialogue for Europe – RYDE”. This initiative focuses on strengthening youth participation in dialogues with institutional representatives, enhancing regional cooperation, and promoting the political, economic, and social benefits of the European integration process in the Western Balkans.
Dajana is a strong advocate for peace, freedom, security, and justice for all. She firmly believes that without the rule of law and functional democratic institutions, there can be no developed or just society.
