Women Return to Labor Market – Report

Center for Democracy Foundation in cooperation with the association “Equal Opportunities” realized the project “Women Return to Labor Market” in the period May 2006 – March 2007. Objective of the project was to contribute the opportunities for employment and self-employment of women, empowering them with new knowledge and skills required form more active approach in searching for job and establishing private businesses in tourism and social protection services. Activities were intended for women 35-55 years of age, from Belgrade and with high school or university education wishing to return to labor market.

European Policies and Strategies in Local Community

Publication “European Policies and Strategies in Local Community” originated from several months of work on the project with the same title and it is certainly one of the most significant results of numerous Center for Democracy’s expert team, direct participants’ and local community associates’ activities in the Zlatibor region. Project European Policies and Strategies in Local Community commenced in May 2005 and ended February 2006 with the conference Zlatibor Region and European Road to Development.
